Hello Michael,
I too get confused about the Roberts, so much so that a while back I broke a
few of the connections on the tree until I could be more sure who married
whom.
I have Robert 1719, son of Thomas and Mary (Virgin) as born in Middle
Chinnock (no source given as this note was made before I was recording
sources) and baptised 7.8.1719 Chinnock, from the IGI. I have him married to
an Elizabeth, although I am quite prepared to believe this is wrong. It is
something I got from this mailing list, however, and the posting is somewhere
in the Rootsweb archives.
Robert and Elizabeth had Thomas, Robert, Hannah, Mary, George, Mary, William,
Elizabeth, William and Elizabeth.
Susannah Tett at present is attached to no husband on my tree. Chant children
are shown as Jacob, Mary, Sarah, Susannah, Elizabeth, Sarah, Martha, Robert,
Eleanor, William and Martha.
So what have I got to alter please? Who are the two Thomas and Mary pairs one
from West Chinnock and one from Stoke-sub-Hamdon each with a son Robert that
I must not confuse one family group with another?
You won't have heard entertainer Bruce Forsyth's game show cry of: 'Good ga
me! Good game!' but I do feel like providing his echo!
Regards,
John
