Hi Janette and others ...
(1) If Henry was born 1855 his wife Sarah is listed as born 1834 and
they married 1881. They had a daughter born 1868 and this would mean
Henry was 13 at the time. Also, I have Henry marrying Mary Jane
Addicoat with five children from 1881 to 1898.
Could someone point me in the right direction please?
Regards,
Beryl

Hello Janette,
Well that at least tells us that Thomas who died in Temora 1907 was
the son of William Chant and Elizabeth Male. One wonders what happened
to Lucy ?
On his son Frederick John. I have his marriage cert of 8th May 1905 at
West Wyalong, NSW to Mary Veronica Simmonds. He gives his age as 23,
which would approx to 1882 or 1883 and also place of birth as Temora.
This would indicate the 1883 birth of Florent John as being
him.....however who then is the John who died during 1884 son of
Thomas and Anna ? I suppose only that death cert will throw light on
the matter. I have not checked the Vic BDM's for the birth at St
Arnaud that John mentioned.
Regards,
Sean
