Jean:
You and I have been over this before and we just can not get on the same
page.
Jeremiah Sr.'s will names no child but Jeremiah Jr. There is no attempt to
connect Samuel who married Hornbeck to Jeremiah Jr. The question is, Samuel
who married Hornbeck a son of Jeremiah Sr., or is he a son of Joseph,
brother to Jeremiah Sr.? He is placed within both families depending on
whose genealogy you look at.
I've asked you previously about the transcription of Jr.'s will -- why don't
you post it for the benefit of the list?Attaching someone to a family on the
basis that s/he is not named within a will is a bit odd, is it not?

He belongs to Joseph Channell, brother of Jeremiah and John. I have
Jeremiah's will and he is not one of his.
