CORNING [Perry OH]: Glen W Chaney 59, of Corning passed away, July 24
2012, at his home.
Born August 12, 1952, in Akron, the son of Gilbert P Chaney Sr. and
the late Marjorie (Goff) Chaney
Mr. Chaney was the owner of Dependable appliance store, enjoyed the
outdoor, the simple things in life, was a good friend to all who knew
him, and most of all was a loving Husband, Father and Papaw.
Besides his father; he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Wanda
Chaney; daughters, Heather (John) Mills and Amanda (James Stanley)
Chaney; grandchildren, Layla, Emily and Gunner; sister, Christine
Chaney; brothers, Charlie, Gilbert, and Mike Chaney, Thomas Skinner
whom Glen thought of as a brother; and special friends the Esselstein family.
Besides his mother he was preceded in death by a brother, John Chaney.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at the
J.E.HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, 118 W. Walnut St., Shawnee, with the Rev
Carolyn Hoskinson officiating. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery,
Millertown. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday,
July 26, at the funeral home.
