Subject: ELLEN CHENEY ETC.
William and Margaret came to Roxbury Mass., what is now in the Boston
area. No exact date is recorded of their arrival, it is estimated
between 1635 and 1640.
There are various places they could have came from, but as yet not
proven.
It would be well worth your while to purchase "The Cheney Genealogy' by
Charles Henery Pope. Barnes and Noble Book Store has it for around $60.
I highly reccomend this to anyone researching Chaney any way they spell
it.
