There was more than one ship named "Hercules." Ship names are often used over
and over.
The ship "Hercules" on which my 1610 Virginia immigrant ancestor arrived made at
least two voyages to Virginia, 1610 (not 1609 as widely believed) and 1610-11, and perhaps
again in 1618. The captain in the first two voyages appears to have been Robert Adams. In
records of the 1610 voyage, it is referred to as "Hercules of Rye." Rye is a
town on the SE coast of England.
There was another ship of the same name later in the 17th century - different because of
weight, but that's all that I know.
I am unsure as to what information you are looking for - the history of ships or someone
who supposedly arrived on a ship named "Hercules," or what.
