Hello Robert,
I can't answer your specific question, but I can give you another resource
for information about your early American line. Isabella Chilton was the
eldest daughter of John Chilton and his wife, (poss. Susanna Furner), both
of whom came to Plymouth on the Mayflower. You & your family should
therefore be eligible for membership in the Mayflower Society on that
line. Furthermore, you will find a good discussion of the family in the
Society's "Silver Book", <Mayflower Families through Five Generations,
vol
15>. That book does not document a relationship between Roger and Edmund.
Incidentally, they show that Sarah Chandler married Solomon Leonard in
Duxbury around 1640. Their information is well referenced, and you can
find a trove of resources in that volume.

Hello Chandler's,
I have in my family tree a Roger Chandler born 4 Apr 1580 Colchester,
Essex, England who married Isabell Chilton on 21 Jul 1615 in Leiden,
South Holland. Edmund Chandler resided in Leiden, South Holland prior
to his move to Plymouth, MA. Is there a connection between Roger and
Edmund?
Any help appreciated!
I am descended from Roger Chandler via his daughter Sarah Chandler who
married Moses Simmons 1632/1637 in Leiden, South Holland, they of course
moved to Plymouth, MA as well.
