What a great way to help others who are searching for their families.
This is very inspirational. I keep hoping that someday, I will find a link to
my father Joe B. Chandler and his parents through someone like you who has a
family bible or knows their family roots.
If anyone knows about any CHANDLER families in Spokane & Yakima
Counties, Washington 1900-1930 that were related to a JOE or Joseph b. Sept. 09,1899

I am not sure if this is the line some of you are inquiring about or not but
maybe it will help clear the waters some. My husband is a Chandler, his great
grandfather is Oscar Edson Chandler b. 10-11-1842 d. 6-26 1915 he was born
in Delaware Cty, OH. He married first to Sarah Elizabeth Clevenger b.
9-17-1846 d. 11-16-1873. Married second Geraldine Gullion b. 1856 d. 12-8-1932.
Oscar and Sarah lived in Ohio until about 1870, when they moved to a farm near
Manly, south of Louisville, NE. He lived there for a time after he and Geraldine
married. Then they moved to Overton where they lived the rest of their
lives. Oscar and Sarah's children were: William Henry Chandler married Ida May
Core. Charles F. Chandler married Clesta Kennedy. and Martha Rosety Chandler
married John Van Cleave. Oscar and Geraldine's children were: Anna Maybelle
married Joseph Kennedy, Julia E. died young. James Robert married Myrtle
Ocsenkop, George never married., Edward married Jennie Carm!
ichael, Frank Chandler married Emma Sandahl, and Lucille Finly., Ernest
married Ella Sandahl., and John married Ethel Alkire.
