I really don't want to fight with you, Donald, but I will not stand idly by
and allow you to make these unwarranted accusations. Please tell us
precisely where, on the CFA web site, it says or implies what you allege -
"that too many people want to be Chandlers without proof".

Well I did try the CFA website like you suggested. In effect that
said too
many "wanted to be Chandlers" without proof. I just want the facts mam and
I can't control what happened 200 years ago. I do have documated proof of
ancesters that were "strangers" the other group that were on the
Mayflower. I think the Chandlers I am looking for were descendants of the
Jamestown Chandler also both groups seem to have merged in the Northwest
Territory. My Indian Ancesters claim both groups of Chandlers were "boat
People" and they (Indians0 have been here forever (about 32,000 yrs?). I
did find marriage licenses, probate records, land records, census records,
etc for my Chandlers so maybe they could check them out and add them to
the CFA records.

your words go unchallenged when you say "The
Chandler Family Association doesn't answer questions from non members and
you can't join unless you prove your tie in to a Chandler. sort of a catch
22." If you go to the CFA web site
http://www.thecfa.org/ and select
"genealogy" and then "queries" you will find that neither of those
statements is true.
