I am looking for information on John William Franklin Chandler. He
married M. Rebecca Garvin in 1871 in Sunflower County, MS. They
moved to DeView, AR sometime in the late 1870's. Rebecca died during
child birth in 1880. I don't know what happened to John William
after that. Rebecca's mother brought the children back to MS and
raised them there. In one record it says that John W. was from LA.
There seems to be quite a few John William Franklins in LA but I have
not been able to connect them. Does any one have information on this
man.
On my mother's side I have an Uncle--Quinton Winfred Chandler. I
have some info on his family. He lived in MS but I think his mother
might have come from MO. Thanks for any help.

and allow you to make these unwarranted accusations. Please tell us
precisely where, on the CFA web site, it says or implies what you
allege -
"that too many people want to be Chandlers without proof".
