Does anyone have any information regarding the Chandler family in the Essex area?
My ancestor is William Chandler b1837 in Halstead, Essex. His descendants can be found in the Barkingside/Romford/West Ham/Ilford areas. I can't seem to go back any further at the moment so any information would be gratefully received

i am looking for info on Frederick George Chandler who married Dora Emily Cook and they lived in hertford,uk
Just got the book Discovering Chandler lines. Of course it was interesting but doesn't have my line.I think they have two Williams mixed up. My William I believe was the son of Robert in York Co. and moved to LunenburgCo Va. He died before 1734. The other William stays in Halifax Co Va and lives to 1770's I believe.I think this Halifax William is a grandson of Robert not the son since the son I have has the same children in York and in Lunenburg Co.Va.

I have an old photograph taken at E. M. Phillips, Danville, Illinois of two young boys, maybe around ages 4 and 6. On the back is written "Ray Chandler and Robert A. Chandler". This was probably from the late 1800s or very early 1900s.

The Deckard family is attempting to find a link to connect Jacob Deckard to the R.W. soldier, Jacob Deckard. Some Chandlers married into the Deckard family. Does anyone have a family bible that has any information about Jacob and Elizabeth Deckard of Indiana? Without a link to show that Jacob was actually one and the same, we cannot prove our ancestry and connection to Jacob in Indiana and Jacob who fought in the Revolutionary War. Help! Any clues.
Thanks, Milly
