George W. (or M.) Chance was born 11-30-1813 in Bremen(?). Georgia and
married Elizabeth Briant (Bryant?) who was born 7-15-1818 to Edward and
Frances (Fanny) Briant. George and Elizabeth had eight children:(1)Nancy

At least three of the Chance sons were reportedly killed while serving
in the CSA during the Civil War.
George Chance's parents were reportedly Eamon or Cannon Chance and
spouse Nancy.
The Hall family was also situated in Carroll and Hall Counties in
Georgia but Arsenia and Tyre( whose first or second name may have been
George) moved to Arkansas where one of their children, Mary Armanda "Mollie
Ann" Hall married Oscar Samuel Hammond.
The Chance family in Georgia may be descended from the Chance family in
Maryland (Richard Chance who married Eleanor Pearson) but I have been unable
to trace that line to George. Can anyone help identify his ancestors?
