Message Board Post:
Earlayne,
I see that you you have done allot of research on the Benjamin Chance's, and was
wondering if you may have any idea who the parents of my Benjamin may be? He was born in
1827, The 1860 PA census say's that he was born in PA, but the 1870 census say's
that he was born in Washington, D.C. His children were all born in PA, the last being born
in 1876, he died in 1883 in Wayne Co., Ohio. He was married to Sarah Jane Hamlin from
Mifflin Co., PA. He also served in the Civil War. I would appreciate any suggestions that
you could give me as to where I might search next.
Thanks,
Vicki
