Who is this person?
Evidently, James Wiley "mis-spoke" his birth place on one of these census'
.... but it does lend credence that he (b. 1802) and Jos. Bell Chance (b. 1800) were b. in
NC, where we know his father was found on the 1800 Montgomery Co., NC Census. We know
that Alexander III was not documented in Tn. until 1807, long after his son's birth
years.
