Dear Robert Champlin:
I have a lot of Champlin data so maybe I can help with this.
At the moment I am at work and cannot peruse my data base. I have a great
many Minnesota Champlins so the chances are fairly good that I will be able
to sort this out.
Some of what you wrote is not entirely clear to me:
- what was your Champlin father's first name?
- what was your grandfather Champlin's first name?
- what was your grandmother Champlin's first name?
- where and when were YOU born?
I am Robert Raymond Champlin myself.
Write soon.
Bob

Subject: [CHAMPLIN] Hope someone has Information
Searching for anything of value against this small piece of information. My
father was "adopted" at 3 or 4 days old, from some sort of hospital or
midwifery in Minneapolis Minnesota, in Jan 1904. He was picked up by his
mother who
was married to a coffee salesman named CHAMPLIN. He traveled a lot, and
reportedly died in 1907 or 1908. All records were lost in a fire and all we
had to
go on was verbal history and an affidavit from this mother. Anyone out ther
have any suspicions. Thanks
Bob Champlin
