Dear George:
I might be able to help you but you'll need to give me a few clues as there
have been and are a great many Champlins in Pennsylvania. While they all
descend from the same person, Jeffrey Champlin who settled in Rhode Island
circa 1630's, you might not consider too many of them "relatives".
Give me your complete name and place of birth plus that of you parents and
Champlin grandparents and I'll probably be able to link you all the way back
to Jeffrey - 11 or 12 generations.
I have a brother and mother living in Berks County, Pennsylvania. We are not
originally from there but my brother went to university there, got married
and stayed. My parents retired and wanted to be near one of their two
children and chose him. The weather is a lot better - nothing personal.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Bob Champlin
