I recently purchased a family Bible that belonged to Jennie Squires Champlin and George
Champlin. It is my intent to reunite this Bible with a descendant of these people. The
Bible was published in 1844 in New York by the American Bible Society

George W. Champlin was born in Fowler Trumbull Co. Ohio Feb 22nd 1847. He died Feb 13th
1917 being 69 years 11 months and 22 days old. He was married in Greene Trumbull Co. Ohio
Jan 11th 1870 to Mrs. Jennie C. Squires. To this union were born 5 children. 1 son and 2
daughters preceded him to the great beyond. He moved to Cherry Valley in Aug 1874. In
1895 they moved to Lenox where he has resided until his death. He was of a loving
hospitable disposition. Always glad to welcome his many friends in his home. He will be
much missed in his home and neighborhood.
