FRANK L. CHAMPLIN EXPIRES SUDDENLY
Father Of William CHAMPLIN, 308 Gilman Street, Succumbs To Heart Attack On Seventieth
Birthday - Funeral Services To Be Held Thursday Afternoon - Interment At Shattuck's
Grove Cemetery.
An attack of heart trouble resulted in the sudden death of Frank L. CHAMPLIN early this
morning at the residence of his son, William CHAMPLIN, 308 Gilman street. The fatal
attack came upon him sometime late in the night and he expired without rousing the rest of
the family, who were greatly shocked when he was found.
This was his seventieth birthday.
Deceased was born in Oakland county, Michigan, March 15, 1851, and moved to Belvidere in
December, 1919. Besides the son, William, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. C.
NORCROSS of Belvidere and Miss Loie at home; two brothers, Thomas of Oregon, and Eugene of
California; a sister Mrs. Nettie MINIER of Sawtelle, Cal., and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the William
CHAMPLIN home with the Rev. A. H. Smith officiating and burial will be in Shattuck's
Grove cemetery.
