Hi, my name is Joel
Kind of odd to possibly meet a distant Fuller cousin on the Champion
list but we might have a connection. Preston Fuller, my relative, was
born in Luzeren Co. PA. I am at work and don't remember who his father
was but could find that out. I do remember that the father was born in
CT.
Later Preston and what appears to be his brothers moved to Indiana.
Preston had a son named Oden. He married Jennie Hall. Oden died young
and left Jennie with 3 kids of raise. Jennie's daughter, Josephine,
married Roy Tracy my great grandfather in Oregon.
Let me know if you think we have a connection. My address is

To be honest, I have no idea. I'm actually researching my FULLER
line, and
the only Champion I have (as a surname, that is) is from CT. Sibyl
Champion
m. Joshua FULLER , and 5 of their 8 children were b. in Kent CT. They
had
moved to Luzerne Co. PA, where Joshua's parents and many of his
siblings had
moved after the Rev. War, by 1790. They were in the areas of
Huntsville and
Plymouth, PA.
Sibyl and Joshua's son Stephen is my ggg grandfather. One of Stephen's
sons
was named Champion FULLER (my gg grandfather), and one of Champion's
sons
was named Edward Champion FULLER. So the name has carried down, but
not as a
surname.
I know almost nothing about Sibyl's parents and family. I know quite a
few
families from Kent moved to PA; it's possible that her family moved
out that
way, also. Do you have possible connections?
I'm trying to prove an old family genealogy--one of those equally
wonderful
and frustrating items that traces out one's line, but gives next to no
sources! So does anyone recognize my Sibyl? Or know of Champion
families in
LItchfield Co., CT in the early-mid 18th c.?
Cheers,
Rachel
