Hi, I know basically nothing on my CHAMPION line..here's what I can tell
you;
Daniel CAMP married abt 1838-9 a Harriet CHAMPION in south Jersey
they had 4 children;
John Wesley,1840
James, abt 1842
Joseph, April 1, 1847
Anna Marie, Sep 2, 1852
Harriet then died May 15, 1856 and was buried in Millville, Cumbland Co.,
NJ
I got her father's name off of her death ledger entry. Her mother in listed
as Mary.
Weymouth NJ was listed as her POB. She was 49 years old. she died of
consumption
The 1850 census found Daniel & Harriet in Burlington Co. NJ with a
Rebecca Champion age 13..a sister maybe?
Going thru files in NJ I have yet to see anyone, Champion or otherwise,
with the given name of Gileade!! I am stumped.
I have been largely concentrating on the CAMP's in my family and saying
that; if anyone has a southNJ Camp in their line I would love to hear from
them.
Please excuse my ignorance but what is Fiveash? I've never seen this name
before..
In regards to myself, I am a single parent of an 8 yr old (who's birth
inspired my researching), I work at one of the Atlantic City casinos as a
server in a buffet, my hobbies are (of course) Gen, crossstitch, reading,
old movies, and 'doing' projects (badly) around the house. the
'downside'
of my life would be the sudden and unexpected death of mom last Dec. and the
lung cancer dad's dealing with . except for those two (recent) events I have
been both lucky and happy in life.

How can one ancestor cause so much TROUBLE ?
