I would be interested also....I know my CHAMPIONs were in Frederick and
Berkeley County, VA (WV) in the 1750's but could they have come there from
another area in Virginia? Thanks, and post whatever you find, PLEASE!!!

Thank you very much for your message and please, repeat yourself once
more! I and several other Champion researchers have tried to connect
with the families of Isle of Wight (and elsewhere in colonial VA)
however, documentation has not been forthcoming.
In regards to Abraham Champion - it is possible he was a son of John
Champion who, in turn, was a son of another John Champion who settled
in Granville Co., NC. Again, research has failed to shed any positive
proof of
connections with other Champion lines.
I would greatly appreciate any information you care to share. Again,
