Hi Bob:
Can we ask you to check your past publications for some of our "family"
CHAMPION names? I am most interested in a John CHAMPION who was in Fredrick
County, VA, migrated to Washington County, KY and married Mary "Polly"
CANNON in Mercer County, KY in 1794. Mary's parents were Robert, Sr. and
Elizabeth CANNON. Have a "supposed" outline of this family if you'd like
to
see it....perhaps you should start up your publication again for us new to
the internet!
Any help you can give me would be so appreciated, you'll never know.....this
is a brick wall for me right now.
Have corresponded with a researcher who has CHAMPIONs in Northumberland Co.,
VA by the names of John (of course, I know this is a common name) but have
you ever seen a connection between the two Virginia counties above?
I, too, wish to thank the listowners for this list. They are really
appreciated.
Thanks so much!
Jan Lund

Hi List;
i happened across the address of this list in a recent RootsWeb
publication. Just wanted to let you know that I am now a subscriber and
will forward more info re family research later.
I have corresponded with over 500 CHAMPIONs from all over the
world in the past thru the newsletter "Champions on Line" which I
published for a brief period. CHAMPION is a great family line.
I wish to thank the list owner Cliff Fiveash, and hostess
Patricia Fiveash Durr, for starting this list and hope that it generates
a lot of serious research activity.
Best Regards;
Bob
