EMAIL piggyback viruses INETD.EXE AND KERN32.EXE infected
my computer a few days of early May. ZIFF-NET reports it takes only a 6
year old,with the
proper virus making software, to make new viruses riding on our EMAILS as
attachments.
I rarely use attachments. I'll guess 6 months since I added an attachment
to an
EMAIL. I had a few days lapse in my
www.McAfee.com clinic Sheild
coverage, and\or
it missed the above 2 viruses. I have come to believe,as fast as new
viruses are
being made, that on-line scanning by the latest McAfee or Noton,or other
anti-
virus companies offer is best. Even so, May 3rd til yesterday's scanning,
I
had INETD.EXE AND KERN.EXE infections. And renewed my annual McAfee
subscription
,by phone,about May 5-6th.
www.mcafee.com will give a free,test on-line scanning.
ours after resubscribing,
