I am a great-great-great grandaughter of Nancy Chambliss and John Roark. Their son,
William, was my great-great grandfather. Nancy Chambliss and John Roark came to Texas with
their son, William, and his wife, Margaret, and their children before Texas was a
republic.
I would like to have a copy of the Chambliss family. What is the address of the London
Society of Huguenots?
Thank you,
Joan Baker

Bob, J.A. Chambliss is also my great-great grandfather, which makes us third cousins!
From which of his children are you descended? My great grandfather was Alexander Wilds
Chambliss, named after his grandfather, and my grandfather was John Alexander Chambliss,
named after his grandfather. I have much information about this family, which I would be
happy to share with you. Have just discovered that there is a file on the Chambliss
family at the library of the Huguenot Society of London and have ordered a copy of it.
Stayed tuned!
