Hello Bobbie,
I do not recognize the names. I am forwarding your message to the RootsWeb
mail list in hopes that some of the researchers there will have an answer
for you. If you would like to join the list, send an email to
mailto:CHAMBLESS-L-request@rootsweb.com and put the single word
"subscribe" (without quotes) as the body of the message. You may put also
put it in the subject line if your mail program requires one.
I would recommend that you send your query again to the group, or if you
decide not to join, to me. Include as much specific information as you
have, including estimated dates and probable places. For instance, one way
of estimating a birth date is to assume that the father is about 20 years
older than his oldest child. Another way is to assume that he is a couple
of years older than his wife, especially a first wife. So if you know about
when your grandmother was born that would help.

Subject: Chambless Geneology
Dear Susan:
I have just started to trace my family tree on my father's side. My
father's father left my father, his mother, and sister when my father was
very young. My grandfather's name was Pascal Chambless. He resided in
Madisonville, TX. till he left his family then moved to Silsbee,TX. where he
had a brother. I know he remarried and had other children although I don't
know their names. And no one alive knows where my grandfather was born, I
don't know if our families are connected but the name Chambless is not a
common one. If you have any info about a branch of the Chambless family
living in Texas I would very much like to hear from you!
Sincerely,
Bobbie (Chambless)
