Susan D. Chambless, My name is JUlia Chambless
Eisenburg, I am looking for any information on My
greatgrandfather, William Chambless, born in ala, no
date. He was married to Elizabeth Webb of Ga. It was
told that he came to Tx. 1n 1870 or 1880. My have
been killed by indians when he was in Tyler Co. His
only known son Whitt W. Chambless, came to Parker Co.
His death certificate stated he was born in 1863 in
Ala. He married my grandmother (Genetta Cavett), who
came to Tx in 1885 from Ken. They were married in 1894
in Parker Co. He is b ried in Palo Pinto Co. I can
fine no postive fact that He may have been related to
John Henry Chambless, who is buried in Oakland
cementary Canton Tx. If so may also be related to
Jeptha Freemon Chambless, also Elkanah Chambless from
Fla. Julia you
