Susan, In answer to your e-mail, I do not have any
connection to Andrew or Jane Harris. I am searching
any Chambless information for my G-Grandfather William
(no initial)Chambless. According to information on my
grandfather Whitt W. Chambless's death certificate,
William was born in Ala. Story told that he came to
Tx in the 1880's. Was killed in an indian raid on
his wagon train in east Tx. Whitt and his siblings
were split up between two families, (names of families
or siblings unknown). Whitt, later settled in Parker
Co. Tx around 1890. He married Genetta (Nettie)
Cavett, on Nov. 15 1894. William was married to
Elizabeth Webb of Ga. This is all of the information
that I have. Not much I know, but am hoping someone
might know something. Thank you for your interest.
