Let's have a roll call on the Chambless list. For any who don't know what
that means, everyone who wants writes in giving their research interests
and any Chambless information they want to contribute, hopefully to match
up with someone else.
For myself, I am not actively doing Chambless research at the moment. I
inherited a great deal of material from my mother's side a couple of years
ago, and I am trying to post it on my website, working around my activities
as a single mother with a full time job and two kids, also reserving a few
minutes here and there to do art. I include the above to explain why I am
not doing much Chambless research, in spite of hosting this list.
My grandfather was Guy Chambless of Wauchula, Florida. His wife was Sarah
Elizabeth Sanderson of Noble, Ill. They lived in Miami and Homestead,
Florida for many years, retiring to Wauchula. Guy's father was Israel
Ezekiel Chambless, married to Carrie (Caroline) Horne. His father was
Israel Ezekiel Chambless, also. The family hailed from Georgia, and before
that from Virginia. This I understand from correspondence with other
researchers, rather from my own research.
Hoping to hear from all of you,
Susan
