Dear Mrs. Stoddard;
Sometime ago I wrote you about a book that my co-author, David Pickering,
and I were working on. This book will be published by Texas A&M Press this
year and the title of the book is Brush Men and Vigilantes: Civil War Conflict
in the Sulphur Forks Watershed of Northeast Texas.
. Included in this book is the story of Frank Chamblee who married Mary Ellen
Terry of Fannin County, Texas, in September of 1859. Frank Chamblee died abt
1863.
Texas A & M Press has asked that I send them a list of persons/ groups
that might be interested in this book. Since the story of Chamblee is
included, I thought that your group might be interested in being notified of
the publication of this book. If you would like to have notification of
publication, then you will need to send me a mailing address, and you can do
this by e-mail.
