Ron and Kathe,
The reason your virus software wouldn't clean the Happy 99 off your computer is
because it isn't
a virus.... it's a worm....
We got it where I work and also on my home PC to get rid of it several files had to be
deleted
off your computer and then clean files replaced.
One of the best ways to stop the spread of viruses .... and I know this is going to hurt
..... is
to not keep an address book in your email program, a lot of virsuses and worms open your
address
book and send themselves to every email addy on it.
I keep a text file.... and cut and paste the email addresses I need to use.....
But gee.... weren't the fireworks pretty?

D'Ann, I had someone infect our computer a couple weeks ago
with something like this. It
said Happy 99 and when you opened it, it had fireworks shooting off and that is when it
infected our computer and it attaches itself to everything you send out and renames
itself to
the file you are sending. It was really a big mess and almost ruined everything in our
computer. Just thought you might want to be aware of this also. We couldn't even
use our
computer for a few days while it was being fixed, for some reason our virus checker
didn't
catch it, so we changed that again for safety reasons. So if you get anything like
this,
just delete it and don't open it. Kathe Chamblee
