Hi All,
I certainly hope it isn't the Chamblee house and land that is for
auction. When I was there 3 years ago and talked with the owners they were
very proud of the fact that the house was restored and listed as a Wake
County landmark. I also got the impression that they didn't own a hundred
acres, but that most of the Chamblee land had previusly been sold to others,
and they only had a small parcel. For those of you in the area, who need to
see the original house for comfirmation there is a picture of the house on my
