Hi All,
A page listing the names of the various Chamblee ancestors who served in
the Civil War is a great idea. A lot of these ancestors are in the time frame
where D'Ann's records stop(on the Chamlee & Chamblee Family Network) and our
research begins. One of the original purposes of D'Ann's page was to connect
our research with the first couple of generations of the various Chamblee
brothers out of North Carolina. There are a few of us who have connecting web
pages that list Civil War ancestors. One is William Palmer Jr., this is a
slightly different connection than is listed on the links page:

Another is the page I have on my ancestor William Bryant Chamblee which
was listed on #5 of D'Ann C.W. list.

company A & B of the North Carolina 47th. His two nephews were in company A.
Other information can be found on some of the county pages, such as rosters on
the Blount County, Alabama page which has a few Chamblee's included.
