Hi!
The address you gave is for a publication called Chambers Helping Chambers,
published by Claudette Maerz. I spoke to her on the phone once. The reason
she started this is because so many people called or wrote to her to compare
Chambers lines that she couldn't deal with it all. So she went to a
newsletter format. She sells subscriptions, but queries are free, and open
to unsubscribers as well. Send your query to her, and allow about 6 months
before it will be published. She rarely answers questions personally by
mail, and you probably will not even get an acknowledgement that she recd.
or published your query--after all this is a one-person show and she can't
do everything. Her service is a great help. I never knew my query had been
published until I got a phone call from a Chambers cousin who had seen it in
her newsletter. I've found two cousins through her newsletter now.
As for a Chambers association, I've never heard of one. Anyone else? I'd
love to know more, if there is one out there!
Polli :-)
