Hi,
My family of Chambers were reportedly native american by birth. My g-grandmother Kansada
(Canzabie) Chambers, her name has been spelt a variety of ways on different documents, was
born Sept. 1883 in VA., I have figured she died after 1910. I have no idea who her
parents were.
1900 Census-Down at the bottom of the sheet where you can barely see them is Andrew and
Canzabie Ratliff.--It states that her parents were born in VA too. Richard Ratliff and
Lizzie (Elisabeth) are at the top of the page, but that doesn't mean that they are her
parents. They could of been her cousins or something. I have been researching this for a
while, any help would be appreciated. This is one of the two census I found her on with
my Grandfather Jack Ratliff.
