I am planning to go to the Washington County Library either tomorrow or next
week. I'll take a look at The 1900 census records, the marriage records, and
the Bastardy records. If I find anything I will let you know. I have not
talked to Agnes yet, but I will.

Hello
I will be curious to hear what you find. This is a very illusive
lady...There are several people trying to find out about her other than us.
I really think the 1900 and 1910 census will open the door..........When I
was in the court house some time back I saw a marriage listed in 1889 for
William W. Chambers and Joanna Skittlethorpe, I did not make a copy of this
and did not write down the ages or parents. I am wondering if there might be
some connection to Annie. You might take a look at it and see what you think.
I wonder if you would do me a favor while you are looking at the census?
Would you look for Benjamin Chambers? There should be two of them...I hope
they are living in the same household. If you find them please send me a
copy, and I will be glad to pay you for your time and expense.
My address is
Alice Griffin
7410 East Swan Road
Avilla, In., 46710
I will be greatful for the favor.
