Thank you so much Mike. The large Brady Memorial Stone at Middle Spring was erected in
1928 by the Brady Family. We hold our Brady reunions at the Old Brady Homestead (log
cabins) just north of Shippensburg every three years. Next Reunion will be in 2012.
Thank you so much for checking your records. After Hugh Brady (1760-1794) husband of
Keziah Chambers, dued, Keziah and her brother-in-law, Joseph Brady (another son of Joseph
Brady and Mary Carnahan)sold the land on which they lived and registered the birth of a
slave. I have copies of these documents. In part of the settlement of Hugh Brady's
(1760-1794) estate, Keziah signed one of the documents as well as the slave registration.
The signatures match. Glad to share what we have. Thanks again.
