Dear Elizabeth
Robert seems to be a common first name in the Chambers tribe from reading the email. My
father had an older brother Robert Otis Chambers born 8 May 1889 in Sidney, NE died 26
November 1940, who was in the ranching business. He in turn had a son born 27 February
1913 Robert Ezra Chambers who died 17 October 1985. His son is Robert Douglas Chambers
born probably around 1938 (guess) who is a cardiologist in Fresno, CA. Tell me if there
are any matches.
I was a 4F and never in the service, but was in college during WWII.
Robert

Bob-My husband's father was Joel Chambers, b. circa 1897. He lived in Oklahoma,
was divorced from Florence Bailey Chambers in 1926-27. My husband only saw him once, did
meet a cousin in the service (1943) named Robert whose father was a brother to Tony's
(my husband) father. I think his name was Robert also, but I am not sure. I know that
Joel remarried and had children, died circa 1986. Does any of this ring a bell? Thanks,
Betsy Chambers
