Subject: Re: [CHAMBERS] Chambers Family in Cole CO., MO
I have David Chambers, Jan.17, 1789 NC - Apr.20, 1838 Cole Co., MO
and
Rebecca McKinney, Oct.15, 1793 NC - May 23, 1848, Cole Co., MO. I show
them
married Feb.12, 1812, probably TN. Both are buried on the Farm of Elias
Chambers, near Elston, Cole Co., MO. This is not my line, but it does
intersect thru Anna Elizabeth CHAMBERS, who married Ezekiel CHAMBERS.
Ezekiel was a son of Wm. C. Chambers, Sr., & a brother of Julius Amos
Chambers, Sr.{my line}
Children I have listed for David & Rebecca are;
James A., Jan.30, 1814 TN & Mary Wells, 1819, KY, (d/o John Wells & Betsy
Lancaster), m. Nov.22, 1838, Cole Co., MO {7 children}
Nancy, Mar.1, 1819 & Jonathan Wells, m.Dec.20, 1838, Cole Co., MO
David, June 29, 1823
Elias, Feb.24, 1826 MO - Sept.10, 1905, Cole Co., MO buried Elston Cem,
Cole
Co. & Susan C. Conley, 1828 MO, m.Mar.1, 1848, Cole Co., MO {6 children}
Mary "Polly", Feb.12, 1829, & William E. Moad, m.Mar.2, 1848
Martha, 1831, & Martin R. Lane, m. Oct.26, 1848, Cole Co., MO {1 child}
Anna Elizabeth, 1817 TN & Ezekiel Chambers 1816 TN m. Apr.12, 1835, Cole
Co., MO {9 children} This line migrated to the Houston area of Texas
County, MO in 1850's along with several other inter-related lines. It's
thought that Anna Elizabeth & Ezekiel were cousins of some sort.
