Will now send info on Chambers. It is a shot in the dark, but may produce some leads.
This is family lore:
Daniel E. Chambers, born about 1816, prob NJ or PA. He, along with at least two brothers,
headed west. Somewhere along their trip westward, they separated, and never saw each
other again.
From census and family records: Daniel was married abt 1840 to
Elizabeth Brinneman in PA and died in KS 08 Sep 1905. Elizabeth was born in NY 25 Feb
1816, and died in KS 04 Jun 1894. They had children: Austin, born in PA in 1841; Sarah,
born in PA in 1844; Mary, born in IA, 1847; Amos, born in IA 1854 and Emma, born in IA in
1859 (died in 1869). With this slim information, does anyone know of a Chambers line
that would have Daniel connected. In other words, his brothers?

Now. I am figuring that I descend from either Elijah or Elisha Chambers. In 1840,
Pulaski County, there were three CHAMBERS listed: JACOB, JOHN and JAMES. I come out of
Jacob who went to Cherokee County, GA for 1850 and then to Wright County for 1870. In the
Wright County area, I find other folks who intertwine with Chambers, Boone, Stacey and
Medaris in my direct lines: MORPHEW AND SAMPLES. One of the Chambers researchers put a
little article about her line in Wright County and mentioned briefly that they came out of
either Elijah or Elisha. What do you guys think?
Love to you all,
Polly
