Hi,
Let me do some research on my Moore line. As you know from all my emails, there is a
Daniel Moore that has close kinship to the Chambers line... and that dreaded Boone line
that we don't want to talk much about. LOL But, you can email me privately and we can
discuss it more thoroughly.
Now. What I am thinking, just looking at your email, is that I need to revisit my line
for you. Elizabeth Boone who married my James Hiram Medaris in McMinn, Tennessee. Their
daughter, Virginia married my James Morphew/Murphy (also largely connected to the Boones).
Then Virginia and James had one son, John, who married Merica Elizabeth Chambers in north
Arkansas.
Elizabeth Boone was the daughter of Israel Boone, son of Jesse Boone and his wife Sarah
McMahan. The last Israel married Elizabeth Moore. (I might have reversed the wives there
because I am typing this from memory.) Elizabeth Moore was the daughter of Daniel Moore
and his wife Alley Johnson. Your Daniel Moor might have been a brother to my Elizabeth.
Elijah and Elisha Chambers both interconnect with all of those above lines. Plus, I have
two more Chambers sisters who married into the Medaris family who probably also connect to
Elijah and Elisha. It is all a very twisted web. LOL
This is the Chambers line that I have:
GENERATION ONE
JACOB CHAMBERS married NANCY UNKNOWN
on the census for Cherokee, Co. GA but said to be born in Tennessee and Indiana
respectively. Other family lines were out of Owen and Monroe Counties in Indiana.
GENERATION TWO
JACOB CHAMBERS, JR. married ELIZABETH STACEY
The progenitor of the Stacey family fought in the American Revolution with an Elijah
CHAMBERS. It is said that the two families travelled together establishing homes in
various states (Indiana above, Kentucky and Tennessee before winding up in Wright co. Mo.
In Wright County, other surnames connecting to CHAMBERS are known to be FRANKLIN, BENTON,
LUNSFORD and HART.
Wright County, Missouri
GENERATION THREE
ANDREW JACKSON CHAMBERS, born 1873, Hartville, Wright County MO married MARY ELLEN BAKER
whose roots come out of Baltimore, MD
GENERATION FOUR
MERICA ELIZABETH CHAMBERS married JOHN CLINTON MURPHY
She was born in 1900, Mt. Judea, ARkansas
JACOB CHAMBERS was known to be in PULASKI COUNTY, MO, on the 1840 census. It is also
believed that he comes out of either the ELISHA OR ELIJAH CHAMBERS line who were in North
Carolina at one time.
On the 1840 census for Pulaski MO were also these two men: JOHN AND JAMES CHAMBERS.
Thanks,
Polly

Polly,
I would be more than happy to share any information.
My GGGrandmother Prudence Moore Chambers is my brick wall. I know that Daniel Moore is
somehow related to her; I am just not sure how. I have this document in addition to
another deed from Daniel Moore to James Chambers my GGGrandfather. I also have other
documents for Daniel Moore that state his wifes name as Prudence. However, Daniel and
Prudence Moore would have been close to or in their 50's when my GGGrandmother
Prudence was born.
Prudence (the younger) married James Chambers in 1840 in Martin County Indiana. James
Chambers is from the Thomas Chambers line of Campbell/Scott County Tennessee.
Thanks - Rosemarie

Hi,
Because it names Daniel Moore, when you have more information, I would like to
know what you find out. It might be very interesting to my line...
Thanks,
Polly

I have found a document that I am having a hard time understanding and I was
wondering if anyone could help explain it to me.
The document starts off as James Chambers Bond to Overseers of the Poor.
The document goes on to name Daniel Moor and Silas Chambers.
If anyone has come across a document like this and understands it I would
really appreciate some guidance.
Thanks
