Hi,
You know what? The plot thickens because I have that Boone line with Van Cleave and
Eggers on my Morphew line. This is really nutty. I think if I can trace out the dadgum
Boones, I can pretty much puzzle out my family tree.
It looks like a lot of these people came out the Three Forks Baptist Church in Watauga
County, North Carolina. I am thinking that before that, they were probably Quakers from
the same church. I guess when we make out our trees, we have to consider the roots to
trace out where the limbs went off to, don't we?
Love to all the cousins,
Polly

Hello Polly: Although none of the SURNAMES is a direct line, I have included two as
indirect lines:
BOONE + Van Cleave
Squire BOONE, Jr, son of Squire BOONE and Sarah MORGAN, [ and younger brother to Daniel
and Israel] who married Jane VAN CLEAVE. The VAN CLEAVE is my line through:
Jane VAN CLEAVE, do Aaron VAN CLEAVE and Rachel SCHENCK
thru Benjamin VAN CLEAVE and Ruth L. MONSON
thru Samuel VAN CLEAVE and Elizabeth WOOD
thru Cyrus VAN CLEAVE and Malinda MITCHELL
thru Albert Mitchell VAN CLEAVE and Mary MCINTYRE and their daughter and
my great grand parents, Altamira Isabel VAN CLEAVE and Benjamin Franklin ASBURY
Have a great deal of information on the preceding line if you or anyone would like to have
help with.
Would like to learn more about Israel, b abt 1726, so Squire BOONE and Sarah MORGAN; and
his wife and their son Jesse. Same on Elizabeth, do Joseph and Catherine, b abt 1748. Same
on Elizabeth, do Moses and Sarah, b abt 1768
Will send a follow on concerning Chambers...getting a bit long. Carroll - VA

Now. I am figuring that I descend from either Elijah or Elisha Chambers. In 1840, Pulaski
County, there were three CHAMBERS listed: JACOB, JOHN and JAMES. I come out of Jacob who
went to Cherokee County, GA for 1850 and then to Wright County for 1870. In the Wright
County area, I find other folks who intertwine with Chambers, Boone, Stacey and Medaris in
my direct lines: MORPHEW AND SAMPLES. One of the Chambers researchers put a little article
about her line in Wright County and mentioned briefly that they came out of either Elijah
or Elisha. What do you guys think?
Love to you all,
Polly
