Children, children ....
fight nice, please. In EVERY family there are going to be some deabeats
.. as well as many kind and generous and wonderful folks. The Chambers
family is no different from any other.
Point # 1 .. this list is intended purely for geneological research ..
not for defaming anyone with information which may or may not be true. We
have no interest in this person's behavior .. merely in his existence and
relationship to others doing research with the family.
Point # 2 .. there is NEVER any reason to be cruel and snide and nasty to
a stranger online. It is simply NOT appropriate and makes everybody's
hackles rise up. Mine especially.
Point # 3 .. from what I see in your note .. the original poster is far
too emotionally involved and invested in the issue to be able to do rational
and dispassionate research. If you are truly searching for this person ..
contact one of the many search companies that advertise online and HIRE
someone else to fine him. Your emotions are clouding your judgment, dearie
.. you want to be able to have folks help you because they like you .. and
when you come on like a steam roller like this .. that simply ain't gonna
happen.
May we get back to straight-forward geneological research, please? I am
STILL trying to find my g-grandfather Fred Thomas Chambers, born in TN in
1853. I have his marriage bond to my g-grandmother and have found him in the
1900 census as living in Memphis, with both parents born in TN .. and I have
found his burial place, but not any record of his death. Any leads to
finding his people would be most gratefully accepted.
Hugs!
Maggie
