MARION C. CHAMBERS
Marion Clay Chambers, 81 of Englewood, Colorado died December 28, 2003. He was born March
28, 1922 in Tescott, the son of Clyde and Maggie Chambers.
He graduated from Tescott High School in 1940. He attended Kansas Wesleyan University in
Salina and served in the Army Air Corps in World War II.
Survivors include his wife Mildred of the home; children, Clay of Houston, Texas; Robert
of Boulder, Colorado; Joseph of Denver, Colorado; Deborah Eskola of Aurora, Colorado and
Mark of Houston; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Lou
Crawford and Maxine Hogarty, both of Salina. He was preceded in death by his wife
Jeannette and a brother Harold Chambers.
The funeral was January 2 at Drinkwine Family Mortuary in Littleton, Colorado. Burial was
in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
Memorials are to the Colorado State Veterans Home in care of Mrs. M.C. Chambers, 8418 E.
Costilla, Englewood, Co 80110.
