Some of my relatives came out of NC and I'm told they came from Pa.
Jesse, William, John, Raymong, and Robert are all names found in my
family. You may want to check Burke Co, and Rowan Co. NC areas for
Chambers in the late 1700's and early 1800's. I know some of my
relatives lived in Burke Co. NC, migrated to Ky and then floated down
the KY and TN rivers into Cades Cove TN. Other went on into other
Midwestern states. I've haven't been able to make the direct connect
but according to one of my cousins who related this story to me, I
found out later via a DNA connection that the story was evidently true.
My ggf was born in GA in 1838 and his father was born in SC but I
can't locate him at this time. My earliest relative found was Moses
Chambers b abt 1798 in SC. My ggf referred to his children as cousins.
Best of luck in your search.

The William Jesse Chambers in my tree was born in Arkansas in 1882 and
married a Percinda Kelley. Their children were Bearl, Raymond, Alene,
John and my dad Robert. I don't think this is the same William Jesse.
I'm looking for information on his parents, grandparents, etc. Thanks
for the reply.
