I have a Col. William Fredrick Chambers married to Perplexina "Lexie"
Ballard. I show he was born in "1798". Now the questions arises is re
Col. Chambers, what was he a "Col." of? He was born to young to be in
the War of 1812, and the only war which he could have been in was the
War with Mexico. Any help would deeply be appreciated..
