A Benjamin Chambers bought land in Frederick Co. VA in 1761
A John Chambers inventory was recorded in same county in 1762, William
Chambers was the administrator. Records for John's land align with the
property of William. I'm betting John was the father of William and
William received the grant for this property.
William's land grant was just west on Winchester, in Fred. Co., surveyed
in 1735. He was deceased by 1782. Birth date could have been as early
as circa 1700.
Other Frederick Co. records all in 1740's period......name:
Joel Chambers
Mary Chambers
Edmund Chambers....
Katherine Chambers married Alexander Ross in 1706, then Orange Co which
later became Frederick Co.
Any one have an input on this info? I would love to hear from you.

Looking for a Rebecca Chambers/Chandler who was on the 1870 Jackson Co AL census. She is
shown in the home of David & Minerva (nee WILSON)Wendrick/Wendrix. Also shown is
William Wilson, born ca 1800 SC; think he was her father.
?
Can not find Rebecca after 1870. Was she connected to my Wilson family, the
Wendrick/Wendrix family or just a boarder? Who were her parents? Who did she marry?
?
Any help appreciated.
?
Paula
