Hi
I thought we might have had a match but on closer consideration I think
perhaps not but I will give you my info anyway in case it leads to
something.
I have a Walter Chambers born circa 1875, one of twelve children of which my
maternal grandfather was one. He went to America and lived in Michigan. We
have him marrying a Eugenia Maria Theresa Urben and having at least two
children, Elizabeth and William both with a middle name of Price as Walter's
mother was a Price. This is the English side of the family and as you can
see Walter disappears into America and the thread is lost. Walter had an
older brother who lived emigrated to NY and became a "ruthless flower
salesman" and was profligate!!!!
It would be wonderful if we had a match but I fear it is unlikely. If we did
I could take you back to the 1600s
Cheers David Goyder

Subject: Family of Walter Scott Chambers-Michigan
Hi , I am new to this list. I looked over the archives and couldn't find
anything on the Chambers in Michigan. My ggrandfather Walter Scott Chambers
b.10-19-1875 d. 4-8-1972 Married Alice Mae Giles in West Branch, Mi.
Sometime later they moved to Royal Oak, Michigan where I met him as a small
child. My problem is, I can't find anything about him before this time.
Who are his parents, etc.
Walter & Alice had children -- Lloyd, Irving, Melvin and Elias.
Elias is my grandfather. He married a Bonita Cascadden
Any help would be greatly appreciated in trying to locate this family line.
Thank You,
Sherry Chambers Hunt TN.
