Hi - All of these Chambers are my ancestors and are buried in the Green-Wood Cemetery in
Brooklyn NY.
The lot was purchased by my Great Great Grandfather WILLIAM CHAMBERS and his brother JOHN
CHAMBERS in 1852. WILLIAM CHAMBERS was born 1810, (prob. NY but maybe PA) his brother
JOHN born 1815. Both were grocers in NYC - their parents were born Ireland (N.Ire.,
believe they were Scots-Irish).
WM. CHAMBERS married ELMIRA ROSEBOOM; JOHN married MARY (nee unknown). I have records of
the children and some of the grandchildren of both familes.
There are approximately 17 people buried in this plot. There are also several members of
the LENT family buried there (my GG Aunt Lydia Chambers married Titus Mead LENT), a
deFOREST (my Great Grandmother Margaretta Chambers married Charles deForest) and a
ROSEBOOM.
Some of those buried here:

Josephine Chambers - d. 1862
Elizabeth Chambers - d. 1862
William Chambers - b. 1810 d. 1869
John Chambers - d. 1892
