Hi Marsha,
Has anyone from your line of Chambers taken the Y-DNA test?
My Chambers went into Pickens and Greene Cos. but had relationships with
folks in Perry Co. My direct line moved into Noxubee Co., MS.
I've always found this Chambers/Boyd line interesting in Perry Co. There
were some Boyds in Newberry Co., SC where my Chambers line was before moving
to AL. I've also found it interesting that there was a Maxwell Chambers in
Rowan Co., NC. My direct ancestor was Maxfield Chambers - sometimes
mistakenly spelled Maxwell. Anyway, probably just a coincidence, but I
wonder if there is any connection between your Chambers and mine.
Sincerely,
Catherine
