I also descend from Betsy Chamber's daughter Parna Ann Darrah aka Parna Ann Darrow
wife of Jairus Smith. I don't know for sure but suspect the Chambers may have been
Loyalists. Jairus' great grandfather Nathan Smith was in the Revolution. He was a
private in the Continental Line in MA. DAR Ancestor #A106496

Chambers. I have Elizabeth "Betsey" Chambers as the daughter of Joshua, sister
of William, Jacob (1785-1860 who married Frances Darrah) and it would appear by Bob's
previous message that Philip Chambers might have been another one.
This is what I have on Joshua Chambers - not confirmed as all the same.
1790 Clinton, Dutchess Co., NY census - 1 adult male, 3 males under 16, 2 females (not
confirmed as being the same)
